Laura Kangasniemi has been selected to represent Finland at the European Championships in Ermelo, the Netherlands, on 3–7 September 2025. Laura shared that this means her primary goal for the year has now been achieved. Demeca, as a company, has supported Laura’s Paralympic sport career, which has been both successful and steadily developing.

Laura competed in Hagen, Germany, with her horse Prinssi, where she also secured her place at the European Championships:

“We exceeded the qualification threshold for the European Championships already on the first day of the CPEDI3* competition in Hagen, Germany, with a score of 68.148%, which was also our record result in the para GP A test. After the competition in Hagen, we continued to the Nordic Championships in Finland, where Prinssi and I won our first championship medals in Ypäjä – individual gold and a bronze in the Freestyle. After the Finnish competition, we travelled to Laholm, Sweden, for yet another CPEDI3* competition. That competition went well, and on the final freestyle day we placed fourth. This long but very rewarding competition tour came to an end at the beginning of July. Now we are preparing for the Europeans by training here at home in Germany (McLean Reitsport) under the watchful eye of my coach, Carolina McLean,” Laura says.

Everyone at Demeca wishes Laura the best of luck and success at the European Championships!
