4 Purpose of processing personal data

The register collects information that is necessary for managing and maintaining the customer relationship, including sales, delivery, invoicing and marketing.

5 Data content of the register

Private customer information: Name, personal identity code (only in the event of a transaction), contact and billing information. Business customer information: Company name, business ID, contact and billing information, contact person’s name and contact information Other customer information: purchases, discounts, deliveries, invoicing, complaints, warranty matters and other commercial information and consents.

The data content of the register is collected at different stages of the customer relationship.

7 Regular disclosure of data

Data will not be disclosed outside companies representing Demeca Oy’s or Demeca Oy’s product family or Maatilat Kuntoon activities.

Data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.

9 Principles of register protection

A Manual material: For the most part, manual material is not used. If manual data is received in the register or printed, it is stored in a locked space. The aim is to convert manual material into digital format as quickly as possible. Unnecessary manual material is disposed of securely in accordance with the decisions, regulations and instructions on data storage.

B Data processed by computer: An electronic register is an encrypted database protected by usernames and passwords and physically placed in a locked computer space of a partner. The protection of the facility meets FICORA’s requirements for a class A equipment room, and only designated persons can access the facility.

10 Right of inspection

The data subject has the right to inspect his or her data stored in the personal data file. The request must be made to the controller. (HetiL, Section 29)

11 Right to rectification

The data subject has the right to demand the correction of incorrect data in the register. The request must be made to the controller. (HetiL 30§)

12 Other rights related to the processing of personal data

The data subject has the right to prohibit the disclosure and processing of their data for direct advertising, distance selling and other direct marketing. (HetiL 30§) The personal data recorded in the register is reviewed regularly and the data is deleted when there is no legal basis for storing it.
