The biogas plant consists of two 2,800 m³ gReactor digesters connected in series, designed for the Kiintomädätys® process and equipped with patented intermediate floor biofilters and double gas domes. The series connection of the reactors maximizes methane yield and stabilizes reactor loading.
Dry feedstocks are processed with a Fliegl PolyPro42 SE + MultiMix SE feeding system and a Vogelsang PreMix unit, which includes a crusher, stone removal, and feed pumps. Slurry manure and other liquid feedstocks are fed with Vogelsang pumps.
The produced biogas is utilized in two 250 kWe Scania CHP units, ensuring efficient electricity and heat production for the farm. The generators can also be operated as an islanded backup power system thanks to the island-mode solution, enabling energy self-sufficiency during power outages.
Process automation, instrumentation, process piping, heat exchangers, and the control system are delivered as a complete solution. The plant produces energy from the farm’s own slurry manure, solid manure, and other field biomasses.
