Biogasplant complex I Pohjois-Suomen Biokaasu Oy
The biogas plant consists of gReactor 2800 and gReactor 1100 digestion reactors, a 2500 m³ low-pressure storage facility, a gFuel Upgrade upgrading unit and a qFuel Compress pressurisation unit, from which biomethane is led to the qFuel filling station. The biogas plant can also produce electricity and heat (CHP) with a gPower unit. The digestion residue is hygienised in the gHygiene unit and separated into dry fraction and liquid fraction by separation. The biogas plant produces energy from field biomass, manure and lake biomass from farms in the area. Sludge-like feedstocks arriving at the plant site are stored in a covered receiving pond, field biomasses covered in flat silos or round bales, and lake biomasses in a closed storage hall built for them. The sludge-like feeds are fed in a closed pipeline, and the dry feeds are fed by a loader-loaded gFeed dry feed unit to the digester reactors.
