Biogas plant complex I Latvaenergia Oy

A biogas plant with two gReactor 2000 digestion reactors, a gFilter pretreatment and low-pressure storage facility, and a gFuel Upgrade processing unit, from where biomethane is led via a gas transmission pipeline for utilization in the Pyhäntä food industry. The biogas plant can also produce electricity and heat (CHP) with a gPower unit. The digestion residue is hygienized in the gHygie unit and separated into dry fraction and liquid fraction by separation. The biogas plant produces energy from local sources side streams from the food industry, agricultural field biomass and slurry. The sludge-like feedstocks arriving at the plant site are stored in covered reception ponds, field biomasses are covered in flat silos and food feeds are stored in a closed storage hall built for them. The sludge-like feeds are fed in a closed pipeline and the dry feeds are fed by a loader-loaded gFeed dry feed unit to the digester reactors.
