Plant Complex – Snaten Lantbruk AB – Sweden

Expansion of a biogas plant, including biometane upgrading, compression, and construction of a refueling station.

The biogas plant will be constructed as an extension of the existing CHP plant, and the overall solution includes a new 5,500 m³ Schumann digester reactor integrated into the current process. Feedstock pre-treatment is implemented with a gFilter 500 unit, and the produced biogas is upgraded in a gFuel Upgrade 300 membrane unit and compressed with a gFuel Compress 300 unit. The upgraded biomethane is transferred either to a gFuel Station refuelling station or to biogas transport containers.

The plant utilizes dry and liquid feedstocks in the biogas process, in which the feedstocks are homogenized prior to the reactor. The process enables high gas yields and the utilization of a wide range of feedstocks.
Raw biogas treatment includes activated carbon filtration and gas cooling. The plant will also be equipped with extended automation and control systems that integrate the new reactor and upgrading line with the customer’s existing biogas plant.

The produced energy is utilized as transport biomethane as well as in the customer’s own processes. The plant also enables CHP production and heat recovery through the respective units. Commissioning training as well as Demeca’s maintenance and monitoring services are included to support operation and maintenance.
